During my recent stay at MiCampus in Madrid, I was pleasantly surprised by the value proposition this establishment offers. Functionally designed more like a small-scale apartment than a typical hotel room, my accommodation included essential cooking facilities, a fridge, and an en-suite shower, all impeccably maintained. The location, while in a residential area away from iconic monuments, is hardly inconvenient, being a mere 20 minutes from the city centre via the exceptional metro system. Nearby, a variety of shops and eateries cater to different tastes, providing meals from casual international burgers to local Spanish fare. The property features a seasonal outdoor pool, a refreshing retreat on hot summer days. The reception staff, who efficiently manage various roles, create a welcoming atmosphere. For travelers seeking the necessary comforts without the frills, MiCampus stands out as an affordable, quiet choice, merging the essence of both a luxury stay and practical accommodation without financial strain.
